Was looking for double glazing
Was looking for double glazing. Did not want to be hassled by sales people ( I spent over 30 years in sales and also trained sales people so know all the tricks and get bored talking to sales people who work off scripts). I thought this site would enable me to get online quotes. Within a short time of registering I got a call from compare companiers explaing I would be contacted by several companies. i specifically asked for no phone calls until after 5.30.Almost immediately I started getting phone calls from various companies. and they have not stopped. The 4 companies recommended were the 4 companies that probably spring to everyones mind when thinking about double glazing. The 4 big nationals.. Not one would give me a rough idea of prices, all wanted to send a sales person round for a visit..... by all accounts I am not capable of using a tape measure and letting the companies know what floors my windows are on.........I need someone to come and tell me!!!! Anyway none could help me without a visit. I found myself a company on line that can give an idea of price with a very good estimate website and also my local company were happy to provide an estimate based on my measurements. Sorry I wasted my time with Compare Companies.
