Very poor customer service
I rented a car that had an issue where it thought the key was present during locking and did not turn off the internal screen causing the battery to run flat. I made this complaint but was charged $182.50 for a call out fee regardless of this issue I had. I was told by staff at the Cairns branch that this would be sent to a mechanic to check but this did not occur and was told that the charge would stand as “others haven’t made the same complaint”. Furthermore the car that we rented was told to be in working order however the power windows did not work correctly and as we were staying was 1 hour away from the branch I was told that to get the car swapped it would be up to me to return it they wouldn’t send someone out. This all took over 7 days to return a verdict on my extra charging which is far too long for an outcome. Very dissatisfied and will not be using this service again.
