Exceptionally customer service skills
I have been with Board Gais electricity for a little over a year now and have had little, or no issues to date, I reluctantly placed a call to Bord Gais electricity regarding my current bill which is in substantial arrears-hence my reluctance to make the call. I spoke to an agent named Liz who works in the debt department. For obvious reasons, I was anxious and concerned regarding my bill However, from the very beginning of our conversation I found Liz to be patient, understanding, empathetic regarding the reason behind the huge arrears on my bill. Thankfully, due to her exceptional communication skills Liz offered me the best possible resolution where my bill can be paid on an incremental basis at a very reasonable weekly payment. I can’t emphasise enough the relief this resolution offered by Bord Gais electricity via their agent Liz has given me. The customer agent Liz has exemplary customer service communication skills. She most definitely should be given either a promotion or a pay rise. All the very best to Liz and thanks to Bord Gais electricity for offering customers, various form of resolutions regarding electricity bills which I, for one was not aware of, I think patience, politeness from us, customers should be possibly more emphasised regarding talking to customer service agents as they to have a difficult job dealing with potentially rude and impatient customers.
