Customer rewards makes us stay.
Generally happy with Bord Gais as our chosen electricity supply. Let's start with the negatives, Customer help desk is obviously overwhelmed and doesn't have enough staff, takes ages for them to come back to you, they don't always listen to you even when the errors are on their part. They don't react fast enough to matching prices from other suppliers. We have been with bord gais for years and when you think you may leave, they don't try to retain you, doesn't feel like they value their customers. Now the good point is their rewards clubs, great offers occasionally for the bord gais theatre but despite me telling them for years rarely offer discounted matinee shows which are more family suitable if you live a couple of hours outside Dublin and have to travel home. Have used the home insurance discount but do miss the Tesco clubcard link up which they used to offer.
