My second visit to Dentakay

My second visit to Dentakay POSITIVES: 1. The staff at Dentakay are phenomenal. They make u feel so welcome. They are at your beck and call making sure you are ok, offering you food, tea, coffee just anything you want. 2. The doctors at Dentakay impressed the most. Right from discussing your dental needs tailored to make your treatment a success to liaising with each other to ensure every detail is covered thoroughly. There are an array of doctors with different specialities in dentistry so you are rest assured to obtain the best advice and treatment. 3. Worthy of mention is Dr. Yesim who happens to be an associate professor in Dentistry in the University of Istanbul. She happens to be my Dentist. What more could you ask for?? You are in safe hands, couldn’t get any better than this. I must warn you, she’s a perfectionist. So rest assure she is very particular about details. Anything that doesn’t sit right with her procedure will be looked at thoroughly. She does go above and beyond. I guess that’s what u want! I felt really safe with her. If you happen to go Dentakay based on my review, ask for Yesim. However there are so many skilled Doctors at the practice in my opinion. 4. Worthy of mention is Abdullah, Busra and Ulku who painstakingly explained my treatment plan and listened anytime i had a query. I say thank you for delivering fantastic service. NEGATIVES: It would have been a 5 star rating for Dentakay had it not been the failure of the planning team department. I was made to understand i will be checking into Ramada Hotel which is a 4 star hotel with all the basic amenities of a pool and a gym and a great breakfast. Obviously you are away from home and want to feel safe in a good hotel with good amenities to entertain yourself while you undergo your treatment plan. Unfortunately for me, that was not the case. I was put in a 1 star hotel ie. LivCity Hotel, with zero amenities. No pool, no gym. The rooms were not great either. Carpets horrible, the safe malfunctioned. Breakfast, absolutely horrendous, especially for someone undergoing dental treatment. In any case, i phoned and messaged the Planning Team constantly to get moved because i was getting depressed staying in that hotel but i was ignored. My advice; you will be better off booking your own hotel unless you are guaranteed Ramada Hotel. I was under the impression i was getting put there anyways. So you may want to learn from my situation. Conclusion: Dentakay is not one of your typical Turkish Dental Clinics that perform botched treatments, leave u scarred or damaged for life. We hear numerous stories of how some people undergo treatments in Turkey and end up maimed for life or lose their taste for life. I personally have heard testimonies from people who have gone to certain clinics in Turkey and as a result have never been the same because either their teeth are falling out or have lost taste or in constant agony. Dentakay is an exception. If anything, you can rest assure that you are in safe hands. Imagine been treated by an associate professor in dentistry, Relax, you are in safe hands, what could go wrong? Absolutely Nothing !! you dont even get that sort of treatment in the UK. Dentakay! Top notch! I highly recommend! NB: Book your own Hotel though! Just my thoughts.
