Ruined Christmas
I had a very disappointing experience with Lifestyle Sports. I found a pair of Nike Air Max runners on their website, which I thought was a great deal and perfect for Christmas. They only had one size left—my size—so I ordered them on Thursday and received an email confirming they’d be ready for collection at the Omni Shopping Centre store on Monday. I live about 25 minutes away, so I drove to the store on Monday, only to be told the runners would arrive in the morning. Frustrated, I went home empty-handed. The next morning, I made the trip again, full of christmas traffic, but when I arrived at 10.30am, I checked my phone to show receipt, but I saw a new email just received from Lifestyle Sports informing me that my order had been canceled and I would receive a refund within 5 days! I had to leave the store empty-handed again and out of pocket just days before Christmas. The least they could have done was offer a similar pair at the same price as a gesture of goodwill. Instead, I wasted time, fuel, and effort for nothing and I've no shoes for Christmas! . This experience was extremely disappointing, and I’m hesitant to shop with them again.
