Incompetence at its best
Joined Tomato Energy in February 25 and I have now lost count of the number of times I have had to call and email them. They answer the phone in good time but that’s as far as it goes, no further action is followed up. Promises of call backs never happen. Yesterday’s conversation went like this: T.E. - I will look into this and phone you later today Me. - I’m not going to hold my breath as you have never got back to me. T.E.- no sir, I promise to call you back today on this number. Guess what? They never called me back. Opening meter readings sent twice and confirmed by email completely ignored with some random number being made up and sent to my previous supplier, but sorry there’s nothing we can do about it ‘ your just have to pay twice for the extra 152 units. Nearly 6 months and only one bill. Numerous phone calls requesting that they send me a bill but still nothing. Press 5 for debt and billing enquiries but that doesn’t exist, you just get put through to customer service who say they will pass the enquiry on but nothing happens. You couldn’t make it up. Dear Tomato Energy, to save time there is no need to go through trustpilot to get my details as per your standard response, here’s my account number 5513825991 and hopefully you will contact me. But I won’t hold my breath.
