This was our first cruise ever and…
This was our first cruise ever and decided to give Cruise 1st a call. We had no idea of what we wanted or were to go other than we wanted to fly out to the Mediterranean. A lady called Mary answered our call and asked various questions about prefered destinations and timescale etc. Being 60 plus we didnt want a ship full of kids or zip lines overhead and duve bombing teenagers in the pool. By the same token we didnt want a stuffy environment of elderly snobs. We were offered a 10 day cruise on Celebrity Reflection. This ship visited lots of ports but 4 of them were on our bucket list so that was great. Also we added extra days before and after the cruise at Rome and Barcelona. These extra days were amazing value for money and I would advise any travellers to take advantage of this feature. We had an internal cabin ( happy with that ) but a few days after booking we were offered a balcony upgrade for a very agreeable fee ( very happy with that!). The whole experience from booking to arriving home was handled meticulously and helped make the holiday one of the best we have ever had. If you are thinking of going on your first cruise....or...you have cruised before and fancy a change of supplier then I heartily recommend Cruise 1st. The fact that you are able to add/remove or bolt on aspects results in a bespoke experience second to none. As it was our first cruise I understand we could be looking at things through rose coloured glasses, however many people we met on the ship all agreed that this cruise was a very special experience. If all the staff are as helpful as Mary then you cant go wrong using this company. Mike and Vanessa ( Rossendale )
