Incompetence all the way around
Incompetence all the way around. They are holding my container hostage. They say that the container was inspected by customs to the amount of 2400.00 I did no know this until the container was here and grounded for 24 hours already. They then said we cant get pickup numbers until you the payment for the customs expense clears. The cargo was customs cleard on 7/10/2022 it got here on 8/8/2022 I found out today it takes the steamship line 48-72 hours to process the payment. Whey did we not know about the payment when it was on the rail? How did it get cleared by customs and then inspected?Nobody has answers and everyone says>>> it is out of our control. Who is in control? where does the buck stop? They already have $38,000 dollars of my money for 2 months now and they can't figure out what's happening and how to get this container released! Again complete incomitance on their part!!! I have also spoken to someone more then once in the last 2 weeks while it was on the rail. with no indication that there was a problem. It has been paid in full since July 10, 2022. Now they are asking for more money to release the PU#. I think its a scam! These people are Scammers and are doing business with Scammers. Don't do business with Ex-Freight Zeta or CMA-CGM. They are Scammers and take no responsibility for what the companies they work with are doing. In the least they could be honest and tell you that your container was booked with a steamship line that does not do there job.
