Room booking error
Had a bad experience booking 2 rooms for some business associates for a one night stay in Bristol. Somehow the booking was duplicated and 4 rooms had been booked instead. When I phoned their central reservations helpline to ensure the booking was correct I was sent an email confirming all the amendments had been made. However I was still charged for all 4 rooms. When I called up the hotel reception I was immdiately told I would not get a refund, despite not fully understanding the situation. I have now emailed their complaints team, and I'm yet to hear back. Extremely disappointed in the service and will be reluctant to reccomend or book anymore business related rooms here again. UPDATE: This issue has now been resolved.
