3rd Cruise Booked in October 2023 - Level of Service exceeded expectations by amazing Cruise Connoisseur, Jason of Panache Cruises. Providing SUPERB assistance for each planned Cruise
I have been tardy in writing this review - I simply forgot! I made 2 bookings with Panache Cruises in October 2023, just a week apart. The first one to cruise with a friend on The Azamara "Journey" for 10 nights in May 2024 (each of us having separate Club Veranda State Rooms, in case I annoy her too much(!) but with "added luxury" as Jason (my Cruise Connoisseur) worked his magic and arranged for the cabins to be beside each other in order that the "barrier" could be removed, enabling us to sit together on our own private "double deck". The 2nd cruise, I booked a week later, was to travel with my lovely husband, on Oceania's Maiden voyage of it's new ship "Allura", staying in a Penthouse Suite in June 2025 - 7 nights. However, just one week later it occured to me that over 1.5 years was far too long to wait to go away cruising with my husband.SO, once more (how many phone calls has this patient man had to endure from me?!) I phoned up Jason again for his advise. I'd been looking at Seven Seas Cruises, and pretty much knew from the website that these were something particularly special. I thought "It's now or never", grabbed the moment being fully endowed/armed with FULL information in my head, obviously with the help of Jason patiently answering all my "nit picking" questions-how many steps etc(!), I booked a 3rd cruise - 10 night cruise again, only this time sailing with Seven Seas "Grandeur" in Aug 2024. Alas, the cabin I should have liked was beyond budget, but despite the ship's lack of availability, Jason managed to find me a perfect cabin for us both. Luckily my "long suffering" husband trusts & leaves everything to me & always loves the holidays I book! What I find SO amazing in this day and age is that whatever (must be, exasperating questions) I "fired" at him, even if Jason wasn't exactly certain of the answer at that very moment (he was already looking for the answer on line as we talked), he found the answer almost immediately or phoned me back within a few minutes. There is no hard sell. No-one can do that to me. If I'd had a sniff of that I would have put the phone down in October. With another cruise line I was met with complete disinterest. Trying to get information was like trying to pull teeth. I don't write "bad" reviews unless I have real cause and then with trepidation as we all have different ideas on what is right or wrong. I have a pretty good idea and am pretty precise about what we want,once I have all the information to hand. However, I knew nothing about "cruising",apart from reluctantly accompanying my mother several times on a very fine "Cruise Line" but disliking every trip due to the "narrowness" in every aspect, apart from the food they served! With Jason's unique talent and intuition, he guided me to what he thought might suit me/us. Leaving me to think things over and "get back to him" - or phone me if preferred. His "indepth" knowledge and obvious genuine interest in "the customer" i.e. the relentlessly irritating "me", on every occasion, together (he and I) have found the perfect "fit" for all 3 cruises, obviously with his experienced guidance. Jason even sent me the information on the "Excursions" as soon as they became available, which I have had time to look at, and have booked in advance of our travel in August. Job done! It is astonishing to me that everything I enquired about, however ridiculous he may have thought the question was, he looked into it and found out. Nothing ignored, all addressed so calmly, politely, informatively and with what I can only describe as a "smile", friendliness in his manner and tone of voice. Our chats went "off subject" so many times as I do tend to get distracted! We communicated well and he never forgot to call me back, even if it was his day off work. I cannot really say much more, other than to advise others to get in touch with Panache, preferably asking for Jason, if they are "thinking" of cruising, as the enthusiasm, professionalism, expertise and genuine desire to help people such as myself, in my opinion, could not be excelled by another company. The service I have received to-date is exceptional and 2nd to none. I still get updates and can't wait to actually travel this May with my friend. So pleased I didn't book to go away this Christmas because we have been struck down with COVID again - Stranded "Home Alone -just us 2 together" this year, watching the film "Home Alone!" Cruising for the first time with Panache Cruises, arranged by Jason (with seemingly such ease -however I appreciate the dedication he put into making this experience "fun" for me, and know the extreme effort and time he put into my bookings).Our May Cruise can't come soon enough!
