Delivery Lead Times and Booking Disgraceful
Still waiting to receive my mattress so this review is solely based on my delivery experience so far and I will happily write a further review of the mattress at a later date. I placed my order on the 5th December, before ordering the website stated that the Ortho 500 was in stock with a delivery lead time of 1-3 days. After placing my order and completing payment method only then are you able to choose you delivery appointment with the earliest availability being the 16th December. This day was not convenient so I selected Tuesday the 17th. Turns out it doesn't matter what day you pick because they attempted delivery on the 16th anyway. I had to refuse delivery because we were not in. I raised this with Customer Services by replying to my order email asking why it had been delivered on the wrong day and was informed that I had booked the 16th and could I provide proof of my booking for the 17th. Be aware that no delivery confirmation is sent out via email or WhatsApp and is not on you order details so I strongly suggest taking a screenshot so you have evidence of this. I advised I could not find any proof but was certain I booked the 17th but did not receive any confirmation from Rhenus Home Delivery. Customer Services insisted the delivery was scheduled for Monday 16th so I requested they send me proof which they did not but led to an email with the ability to rebook a new delivery time... The earliest available booking slot is the 27th December, a further 8 working days, yet the website will still lead you to believe you will get your new mattress in 1-3 days. Anyway I've rebooked for Monday 30th December so lets see what happens this time around.
