Unprofessionalism

This was, by far, the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had at any official institution. Despite this being an institution that serves people of various nationalities, the staff barely spoke any English, and the entire environment was chaotic and disorganized. We had a scheduled appointment and arrived almost an hour early, but still had to wait in line for nearly two hours. When it was finally our turn, the staff member attending us simply redirected us to someone else because he couldn’t communicate in English. Eventually, the next person handling our documents told us he needed to go on a break — and just left for 15 minutes in the middle of the process. When he returned, he quickly and carelessly processed our paperwork without any explanation. It was extremely unclear what was happening. The most frustrating part came when we tried to make the payment. We were asked to pay a fee, but we had already paid part of it online during the appointment booking. We had questions about the amount, but the woman at the payment window refused to speak to us — simply ignoring us. When someone else attempted to clarify the issue for us, she gave them disapproving looks, as if to discourage them from helping and just push us to pay without any answers. This level of service, lack of communication, and outright disregard for basic professionalism is unacceptable.
