Forcing to sign a 3 year lease with no break clause
Me and my partner were looking for a flat, and found some really great ones with Marsh and Parsons. However, we were consistently told that the landlords wanted a 3 year lease, and completely disregarded a break clause to be put in the contract. Having read other reviews of horror stories of this exact situation of tenants being unable to get out of their lease due to this, we decided to avoid them. Thought I'd post a review saying to be wary of the 3 year tenancy! A break clause should be absolutely required and is not a luxury to ask for.
