Have had intermittent misfire
Have had intermittent misfire, my first visit to JG, not any old garage but Ford main dealers with all there skill, expertise and the most modern technology, I was told as the engine was running normal with know stored data on car computer there was nothing that could be done and to return when it happened again, a few weeks later the misfire happened again I phoned JG to see if I could come in straight away so they can plug into the computer, unfortunately nothing was showing I was told to book car in so they can do further investigations, car went in as arranged a few hours later I received a call saying nothing can be done as there was know stored data exactly what I was told before, I just don’t understand why know testing on certain ignition parts were tested I was under the impression that JG mechanics are the best of the best with the best equipment but obviously not, as they only seem to rely on what the car computer, says, very disappointed Another point, I really do not want a car health check, I have servicing at the regular intervals for faults if more time was spent on the problem in hand instead of trying to find problems to get inflated cost repairs, then more time can be spent on the initial issue.
