BE WARNED - WHITESGATES WILL DISSAPPOINT!
BE WARY - After several commitments to have repairs done stretching back to the beginning of our tenancy (2019), work not carried out. Rental fell behind as email on record wasn't updated, despite several communications to new email address regarding other issues, although we were able to settle up on the shortfall (which I think was a concession from landlord rather than estate agents) However we paid this up within a month of being notified properly. Finally now that we have been given setion 21 notice to vacate moved out, given list of ridiculous reasons for withholding full deposit amount. They also ensure that emails are sent at the very end of the day, which I don't believe is the only time they get to respond, but it does buy them an extra day to any timelines they working on for deadlines ect. We have requested further update but again as I write this its late afternoon and no response, so about to seek council and legal advice - so watch this space, but if considering using Whitegates rental at this point I would sincerely implore you to look elsewhere!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! UPDATE - Now a month later am no further response - can’t provide evidence that deposit was ever secured and have just taken the full amount against alleged repairs needed - House appears now to have been re-rented.. ONLY USE AS A SELLER who wants an unethical and quick sale - NEVER AS A TENANT OR BUYER🤔🤔🤔
