Awful company-thieving, disorganised and terrible service

Broke down in the Lake District - had to climb a mountain to get signal and then couldn’t get a real person on the phone. Had to download an app, pay the £40 call-out surcharge before reporting the problem and then told on the app that it would be up to 8 hours before someone would come. This kept getting pushed back throughout the day until it was saying 12 hours which would have been almost midnight, at which point I had to sort the problem out myself - luckily found a local farmer who helped. Disgusting to not prioritise someone stuck in the middle of nowhere. Then driving back my tyre exploded. Went through the same process and paid £40 to be told that they couldn’t help and I had to call a 24/7 tyre service who did the job instead. I made a complaint and they agreed to give me 2 x £40 refunds for the services they didn’t provide - but it’s been two months of pestering them now and they’ve only refunded 1 x £40. I know it’s not a lot of money but it’s the principle of it - they constantly say the money is on it’s way but it’s not - disorganised and completely inept. I wouldn’t recommend anyone use them. What’s more - when you’re in an emergency you really want to talk to a person on the phone - to fob you off with an app is disgusting, especially making you pay upfront before they even know what the problem is and whether they can even help. It’s just opportunistic and greedy.
