Never use MyhomeMove if their AML team is involved
I am using the services of MHM for a transfer of equity that was supposed to last around 4 weeks. We are currently well into the 5th month (21+ weeks). Needless to say how ridiculous is that. All the delays and issues have been caused by their AML, which in my personal and professional experience are the most incompetent bunch there is. It took them well over 3 months and at least 3-4 official documents such as ID, passport .. etc to verify an identitiy of a person they verified just with a simple ID 2 years ago. Upon enquiring of why is it taking so long, their reply was that there has been a change of the law. I required for further explanation as to what had changed, however never got an answer. In my case - a gift from my mother is involved and this case opened pandora`s box for MHM. Their AML team had absolutely no clue how to read a simple bank statement, I had to resent official documents on a number of occasions, as they couldn`t event be bothered reading them, they have absolutely no idea anout foreign jurisdiction and kept asking for stuff and procedures that exists in the UK, but not neccesarily overseas, which proves their incompetence and lack of minimal understanding of how things are done overseas. They have been treating my mother as if she is Pablo Escobar, which is just proposterous, and this is just the short version. Funnily enough I chose MHM for the transfer of equity, as they were the onces that did the original purchase of the flat, which as well used gift from my mother. If I had only known what I will go through for the last 5 months, I would never have proceeded with them. tldr: If your transaction has to use MHM`s AML team - run for your life
