Miserable staff that cannot speak
OK ordering spares to collect was fine. But had to wait to be noticed by two staff simply chatting and turning their backs to me. Then when directed to get the spares the staff member actually did not speak at any time, I passed my receipt and sad hello Im here to collect this, the staff member simply took the invoice, went and got the item, passed it to me with not a single word. How is this acceptable. I don't want staff to grovel at my customer feet but I do expect civilised social intercourse from staff. Fowlers is the one place I try to avoid due to the staff. The general manager needs to put them all on customer training. In my job if I acted like that I would be out on my ear, as customer service is paramount in my organisation. Fowlers staff, shape up, if you are anxious of the public, then stay behind the scenes and only put your affable staff to customer facing.
