Southern Sights &Sounds with Steve Pritchard
Just back from Southern Sights and Sounds and Steve Pritchard our tour manager was fantastic. He and the driver Jan worked so well together to make the trip great. There were 36 wonderful people who all were on time, looked out for each other and got along famously and some of that is down to how Steve looked after us. We didn’t have enough time in Nashville as we were taken on a tour by a local guide to boring places through heavy traffic but the other cities on the tour were wonderful. Steve came with us everywhere and stayed in the background ensuring everything ran smoothly. Some tour guides leave you at the start of a visit but Steve came with us everywhere. Memphis and New Orleans were highlights but so was everywhere else. A shame the Incline Railway was not in service and Titan arranged a visit to Rock City Gardens instead but beware the path is very difficult. We went back as soon as we could and missed the best views only to be told afterwards there was an accessible path. The tour incorporates civil rights, music and the history of the Deep South and I would recommend. Country, Blues and Jazz.
