If I could go into the negative stars
If I could go into the negative stars, I would. Selling the car is one thing, pretty average experience. But what a hell on earth the after care and communication is. I don't think there is space here to list the amount of calls we have made that were not returned. We then got legal advice and the last month of calls we have stayed on hold for up to 30 mins so we can ensure speaking to someone. Joanne, as useful as a chocolate teapot. She will claim to "take your case" and "give you my private number" but she is still as hard to get hold of as Houdini. She also will tell you "but since I have taken your case things have got better" for who?? Not for us. In fact, we ran a little experiment in the last month, and pretended to be interested in buying another car in the showroom through the online chat, they love to call you then! Phone was ringing off the hook. Though the second we asked to be put through to Joanne or Daniel, the stuttering started. 7 weeks after we bought the car, it broke down. Complete non starter. The garage collected it (reluctantly) and after 3 weeks of it being there my husband was sick of the non returned calls and decided to turn up. He has asked for Joanne, we had never seen her before, and the poor salesman got a telling off from her for giving her identity away! Anyway, we wanted to be away from Hilton Cars as much as they did us, and eventually got a refund (later than promised though, I may add). If you have to deal with this company, my only advice is to speak to Harj. The guy answered the phone to me one time and did more than Joanne had in weeks. Daniel, Mr MD, if you are reading this then give Harj a raise. Honestly the most professional person I have spoken to in your company. And I think I spoke to them all to be honest! Good riddance Hilton Cars. Apart from Harj, take care Harj.
