Awful hire car and customer service
Not clear where to pick up minibus at Paphos airport. On arrival at desk, only one desk open, meaning a delay after 45 minutes before access to car. Ordered a compact car, but given a Vauxhall Grand land. Numerous faults with car, indicator falling off car, binding brakes, clutch constantly alarm going uphill. Contacted Aercar, not interested in problem, were expected to return car, meaning a round trip of 2.5 hours, with no guarantee that a replacement car would be available. Took our full insurance, including tyres cover. Had a puncture on a main road. Tyre was bald. When we returned the car, long discussion including being accused of driving off road, which we did not do. Stuck toy guns, and refused to pay for tyre, as it was covered by the policy. Trued to intimidate, by 5 inspecting the tyre. Would never use them or recommend them to anyone else.
