DISGRACEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Acc no 00528560, complaint ref 6506486 When i recently sold my flat and cancelled my energy account with so energy they had the nerve to withhold my £495 credit and challenged why it had built up despite informing them numerous times that the flat had been vacant for several months they withheld MY money for nearly 2 mths causing real distress to me and my pregnant partner i eventually informed the energy ombudsman and the payment was paid immediately with an apology for the distress A few weeks ago so energy agreed to pay me £50 in compensation which again they are withholding despite my email on 6/5/2025, which they have not replied they never make an effort to contact you and i had to ring several times to be given the same excuses that caused the initial problem ,i now have made another approach to the ombudsman, basically dont use this company if you want any decent service they are a disgrace and an embarassment to the energy industry Mr Philip Longstaff. I have now been contacted by will at so energy and finally got an explanation as to why the issue has arisen no explanantion as to why they don,t answer my emails at lease 3 since 6/5/25 this would have avoided me having to place this review i have no issue with their excellent value and tarif options but their communication process should really be addressed
