AXA Car Insurance renewal
Received an email reminder from Tara Foley CEO of AXA UK & Ireland on the 18.04.2025 at 06:30 stating my Car Insurance was due for renewal on 12.05.2025. The reminder quoted £332.46 for this year against a price of £280.98 for the year just gone. As AXA decided not to renew my Home Insurance back in January 2025 I took the opportunity to write back and state as a direct consequence of AXA electing not to offer me Home Insurance I would therefore be placing my business for Car Insurance with an alternative provider this year. In actual fact I have saved money big time as the alternative provider is cheaper than last years AXA premium of £280.98 ( exactly the same like for like policy ). My email was intercepted by an Executive Assistant ( name available upon request ). I had requested no further marketing or sales emails from AXA, in addition, I also requested a certificate of NCD. This reply came back :- "I really appreciate you sharing the further details. I replied to your emails on behalf of Tara as she is currently away and didn’t want to delay a response - I will of course update Tara on her return. I will ensure that the marketing request is updated asap. I will also request the certificate of no claims proof - please bear with me so I can discuss with the relevant manager on Tuesday on return after the bank holiday. " This was Easter weekend, 18th April 2025. I have sent two further emails ( both with email delivery receipts ) one on the 6th May 2025 and one 8th May 2025 asking for the courtesy of a reply....................what has happened, absolutely nothing! DISGRACEFUL. TRUSTPILOT READERS TAKE MY ADVICE AND .....PLEASE.....PLEASE......PLEASE......PLEASE USE AN ONLINE COMPARISON WEBSITE TO CHECK BEFORE RENEWING ANY INSURANCE WITH AXA. YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF. Update.........received a brief email from Tara Foley timed at 08.35 this morning Friday 09.05.2025. Quote as follows :- "I am so sincerely sorry that you have not received your NCD Certificate - I have requested this matter urgently looked at. Please bear with me whilst I obtain an update." Unquote. So...watch out for next installment! Final update 12.05.2025. Received a reply from Tara Foley explaing the situation. Many thanks Tara for taking the time to reply personally but you have still lost a Home & Car Insurance customer.
