HELP AND SUPPORT IS OUT THERE.
I have been struggling with getting referrals and assessments through Solihull and Birmingham Mentalheath Services at Yewcroft. I have been promised callbacks and socialworker contact for three years without any success. The teams keep passing on responsibility to other teams which then claim it is not them but whomever and fail to provide effective adequate and reasonable levels of support. I am entitled to support within section 117 of the CMHA, to no avail. The team as completely failed me and have aloud my case to fall through the cracks passing the finger of blame for their incompetence back into my court. On top of all this the service as failed to undertake any responsibility for not providing a mandatory service or for not fulfilling their Dury of Care. Without even an apology or fir any reasonable adjustments through their so called training. I have needed to contact my MP seeking their support and potential sue the Service for their failings, or indeed enter a Parlimentary Ombudsman Complaint to achieve going a voice.... Thank you.
