Substandard products are being sold at inflated prices, and customer service is inadequate.
My purchase of this electric recliner was unfortunately flawed. The initial delivery lacked essential components as detailed in the instruction manual, a discrepancy the vendor initially attempted to dismiss. Subsequently, my request for collection and a full refund resulted in a replacement unit which also arrived incomplete. I ultimately accepted a partial refund to procure the missing part myself. Within two months, I documented the vendor's response (attached), which highlights significant concerns. I strongly advise careful consideration before engaging in business with this company. Good afternoon, This chair was purchased for an elderly, disabled individual. It presents a safety hazard; the chair's instability causes it to tilt, and the armrests offer insufficient support. Following a visit from the care team, it was determined that the chair is unsuitable and unsafe. Consequently, the elderly user fell from the chair due to its instability. Hi Domenico, Thank you for your email, and I’m sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your item. Please note that we previously received a request for replacement parts for this product, which were supplied as requested. You later requested a power clip, which we confirmed is not included with the item. Following this, the case was closed with a partial refund of £50, which was accepted and has already been issued. This order was delivered in March, and it has now been nearly three months since delivery. Unfortunately, the return period for this product has now expired, and we are unable to assist further in this case under our standard return policy. Additionally, the images provided do not show any manufacturing defect or relate clearly to the concerns raised in your email. As such, this would currently be classified as a change of mind return, and the 14-day change of mind return window has also lapsed. If you believe the issue is due to a manufacturing defect and not a change of mind, please provide a short video clearly showing the fault with the item.
