Autoship and Autobill Is a Trap. Avoid at all costs!

I found I could no longer use their product. Sent support and email expressing my desire to cancel the autoships. Received an email that instructed Musely could help me once I signed into my account, which I did. In the interim I received an autoship order notification making note that the order must be cancelled or skipped before the product shipped. I responded "Skip." Within a day or two I received a notice from my bank they had billed my account. This was prior to the stated ship date. I immediately contacted my bank to reverse the charges advising I'd told Musley I wanted to cancel the upcoming order. The refund was processed. This was in March, 2025. A few days ago I received a pre-ship notification. Again, I wrote to support saying I'd decided to cancel my account. They responded via email bot to go to the Help section from my account. There was no provision inside my account to cancel! I wrote again. Again, I received an automated email advising I could delete the account using their app. FI downloaded the app and proceeded to cancel/delete the account. I also notified my bank. While the autoship is convenient, the fact that support doesn't reach back to answer questions or clarify what needs to be done. I am no longer their customer and I am also suspicious of the cancellation/delete process. They warn they cannot issue a refund or make other adjustments once the product is shipped. I get that. That's why I responded to the next order notification to skip. I conclude that so-called "trials" and auto-bill-auto ship requests are practically impossible to respond to. What typically happens to vendors who employ these tactics is they keep billing and shipping without regard to the customer's wishes. Once they bill, it takes up to three (3) months to straighten out. I will not renew my relationship with Musely. And, my recommendation to anyone who signs up for a "trial" or "autoship" proceed with extreme caution. In fact, I'd suggest charges for products (regardless of vendor) be paid manually each month when payment is due. Very disappointed. Hope this report is helpful to others who find themselves billed for products they do not want. Autoship and Autobill is a trap. It's one we as consumers need to understand and be very cautious about.
