Terrible service from Mycruises!
I have booked 4 Virgin Voyages cruises with MyCruises , all of 2 weeks duration or more. Yesterday, I booked the fourth cruise. I booked via Angela Dong. She asked if I had a preferred airline for the two flights and I stated Qantas. I was told that for the Sydney to Melbourne flight, I could fly with Virgin or Jetstar. I nominated Jetstar. I was told that the Auckland to Sydney leg would be with Qantas. You can imagine my surprise when the itinerary subsequently arrived and the Auckland to Sydney flight was with Air New Zealand! Angela also stated that I needed to send copies of our current passports, which I subsequently did in response to her itinerary email as attachments. I know that they were attached because I CCed my partner in the email. You can imagine my surprise when I received another email from Angela at 6pm requesting that I send copies of the passports! After I made the booking I realized that I had not given Angela our Virgin Sailor IDs. I phoned back and gave them to another agent who said she would give them to Angela. This was a major problem with the previous 3 bookings, which were all made at the same time, as that agent created 3 different Virgin Sailor IDs for my partner. I subsequently had to spend hours with Virgin merging the 3 IDs. You can imagine my surprise when I was informed by Virgin Voyages today by phone that new IDs had been created for the new booking and that they would now need to be merged - allow 48 hours. A really terrible service given the amount of money that we have spent!
