Daylight robbery and customer service couldn't care less
I ordered two items from this company back in April. These items didn't arrive at the time and I contacted customer service, who immediately took quite a hostile attitude. They demanded I fill in a legal disclaimer to say I wasn't lying and the items had genuinely not arrived. I had no problem filling it in but it felt quite hostile from the start. This led to a lot of back and forth emails with Kate's clothing claiming the items had been delivered (they had not been) and flat out refusing to refund me. It felt like daylight robbery. Eventually my items turned up in August, four months after I placed my order! I promptly returned the items unopened using the company's official returns label. I waited and waited and waited...nothing. So 4 weeks after posting the return I email asking if they have my return and they claim they don't have it, so therefore cannot refund me. Frankly at this point I don't believe them. What a palava and stress over two items worth less than £20. It's shocking they won't do the right thing and just refund me. I've been made to feel like a liar by this company who clearly have a problem with their logistics. It's a terrible way to treat a customer and I definitely won't be returning. At every turn I have been ignored, dismissed and disbelieved. The fact remains that I paid Kate's Clothing for two items of clothing and now I have neither my items nor my money. Make of that what you will.
