Darwin is Trash

I have not had a single good experience with Darwin. In the middle of my lease Home River was taken over by Darwin. My lease came to an end and at the last minute when I said I would not be renewing because they wanted to do a $400 increase. They said they wanted to try to work out a deal. They took days to do so and I had a week left on my lease. For which I told them that if they don't come to a decision before the end of my lease would they work with me in giving me a couple weeks to pack up and they gladly agreed. However that was just the start of their lies. They then proceeded to give me a terrible "deal" to which I said that that wouldn't work. They decided to talk to the owner one more time and an hour later after that phone call I get an email saying that they are not renewing my lease and that I have until the 9th to get out. Darwin does not communicate with each other and nobody knows what they are doing. I finished paying my lease to the end. I checked all through the next month for a notice on my remaining, forced balance because they did not work with me to let me get out. So I moved out early and then got a legal fee saying that my rent was late and I had late fees, legal fees all equalling around $3,000. Mind you I was not even paying for a full month. Plus my original rent for a full month would be $1,650. I called and called and emailed as I have in the past and all I get is the run around and nobody to answer or give me a straight answer. Finally a director reaches out and says not to worry she is fixing this mess. That was 3 weeks ago and I've heard nothing. Except an email today saying that they are taking my security deposit and more because the house doesn't look good when that thing was near spotless when I left it. Now they are saying I owe $4,000 and it's amazing to me that they are messing with my credit and such and they don't care. I just want to pay for the days that I was there and be done but you can't even get ahold of anybody to fix the issues. Even when you think they are finally fixing an issue it takes them weeks to give a half answer. I'm tired and will never you Darwin or any other 3rd party renting service again.
