Getting things right.

First may I start with the star rating. Awarded 4, but should have been a 5* if you consider their offer and pricing - which is great, especially if you use battery storage that can utilise the lower early morning rates. Why a 4 rating, well when I signed up all was fine, but I was suggested to use a battery tariff, but found a week later that another tariff was better for me (with battery’s) so please check for yourself. When I asked to switch to the more appropriate tariff, my email took many weeks to get a reply - painfully slow (1*) But tomato did come back and change tariff, it just took a while. I guessed they are being so successful with great pricing that they are victims of their own success, too many new customers, not enough customer service guys and gals to resolve issues. Albeit disappointed with this, I have recommended tomato to a lot of people (esp battery / ev cars) but tomato had stopped signing up new customers. Today I had a call with Harvey and he confirmed that they are concentrating on getting things right with their existing customers before taking on more (well done) Great to get a call to ask how I was doing, in fact I missed the call several times and they still persevered. I think this shows a commitment by tomato to get things right, and with really useful tariffs - good luck to them.
