Hello I am resident in Florida
Hello I am resident in Florida. This is the absolute worst renting experience I have ever had in my entire life. I have toddlers in my house and we’ve been with out ac for months with nobody contacting us. When I moved in they didn’t give me a mailbox key, they told me the last tenant never turned it in and that it was my responsibility to change the lock. They’ve added multiple questionable charges to my bill after I called and questioned about my bill. Now it won’t even show my on the website the different charges. Like when it normally will say “rent, water, electric” and the amount. Now I don’t get to see that. We were recently told to change our electric over to fpl and that it would be a separate bill. Ever since I’ve been paying two electric bills. And when I called they tell me that “it’s not supposed to do that” and “I suppose it shouldnt happen again.” They said the call was recorded they gave me this reference number 406731. The owner of the property is constantly here doing repairs herself because great jones doesn’t respond to anybody’s email. The people in the unit across from me were with out a fridge for 2 months. The units have mold. I’m just so frustrated with this company. It’s hard times and gj just makes it harder. All I want is to be able to contact someone when there is an issue. But seems like nobody at this company cares, all they care about is taking your money not the fact there’s young family’s working hard to pay rent and we can even come home to ac. My 2 and 3 year old daughters sweat at night because it’s so hot. Don’t let this happen to you’re family. Avoid anyplace managed by great jones. Save yourself the headache
