Lululemon gift card - steals your money
I was sent an egift card for my birthday. On 5th August I tried to make a purchase on line using my gift card and my credit card. Unfortunately the bank thought it was an online fraud so declined the transaction. However, the balance on my egift card of £50 was taken by Lululemon. I called customer services straight away and was told it would be refunded in 24 hours. This did not happen. On 6th August I emailed customer services explaining what had happened and then had a number of email exchanges in which they told me to send a copy of the front and back of the gift card - difficult with an e gift card. To delete and reinstall the app - I don't have the app but no solution to the lack of balance on the gift card. On 7th August I called customer services again and was told they had a system error and it make take 10 days to resolve. I asked to make a complaint and was told they would forward it on. It was not possible for me to speak to anyone or email a different email address. I was told it would take up to 48 hours. About 51 hours later I received an email from complaints saying did I want to continue the correspondence by email or phone. I could see from the email chain that she had all the information so I didn't know why she actually needed to speak to me. I replied and said I was around all afternoon and gave my number. No call. That evening I emailed and asked to be called today at 10am or else could she just email to say she had resolved the issue. I even gave a suggested solution, put the balance on the e gift card or else cancel the e gift card and send me a new one. Still no response. Basically Lululemon have taken £50 from me, have given me nothing and nobody seems capable of resolving the issue.
