Appalling service for students
Appalling service for students. The property was dirty on arrival, mould in showers and kitchen, the shower waste pipe leaks through kitchen ceiling and remains unfixed after three months living with a bucket to catch water. There’s an endless list of faults. Bills have not been paid by agents despite taking the bill payment plan, leading to final demands, cut off services, and no response from Thornley Groves to the actual residents about where their bill payments money has actually gone. DO NOT take a student tenancy with this company, it’s overpriced rental for rundown and barely liveable accommodation. They DO NOT pay your bills on the bill payment plan, it’s tantamount to fraudulent appropriation of your money for their profits. They DO NOT respond to students who message or call them, they ignore requests for required repairs, having left this particular house with a broken main door lock for weeks, it’s no wonder the houses are absolutely disgusting when you move in. The treatment of students is as if you’re substandard renters, when in reality it’s Thornley Groves that are a substandard company. Will take your fees and rent, but have a complete disregard for tenants, property management and buildings maintenance. Incapable of managing rental accommodation to any kind of standard, DO NOT USE for student housing.
