Second online complaint for the same issue
This is the second time I’ve posted a complaint about Darwin Homes and they couldn’t care less. We submitted a ticket on 8/23/23 to repair the AC and a water leak and it’s 09/19/23 as I write this. Once we started looking we realized there was also mold in the house. Tickets have been submitted and as others have noted there is nothing but a loop in their phone system to a call center in the Philippines. I’ve tried to reach them almost daily for the last 3 weeks with no response. I even tried to contact our property manager through LinkedIn and she and others blocked me. I’m just trying to get some relief and can’t get anyone from Darwin Homes to respond. We only have two months left on the agreement and are not renewing, maybe that's why they won’t contact me… I don’t know, but the home is uninhabitable with no AC on the 1st and 2nd level in the South, in the summer. Plus the mold in the house that we can’t get remediated because the root cause has to be fixed and, as noted, it has not. As a property management firm they are screwing over the owner and the tenant. My only consolation is that we only have 2 more months as a tenant, but it stings to write the checks for rent on a property that is uninhabitable (no AC, water leak and mold). Horrible, horrible company. 09/20/23 Update - the reply from Darwin is standard I’ve left messages daily with the call center and no call back and yet they ask me in the online reply to contact them. I have tried and Darwin will not reciprocate.
