Problem with my wheelchair adapted van
Problem with my wheelchair adapted van. The front restraints were not working because switch was iffy. Asit was late in afternoon suppler suggested calling RAC for assistance. I called logged fault and in a short time was allocated a petrol Matthew ID: 1277. Arrive within 4 minutes found fault and replaced switch with a spare supplied with the van, so must be a more common problem for them to supply a spare. Inside trim panel removed switch replaced all put back. Total time around 26 minutes. Also looked at tires which were showing wear from the weight suggested new ones. Went to Quick Fit next day 4 tyres replaced. So by the work carried out by Matthew I was able to get my wheelchair in the van safely and his advice on tyres probably save a problem further down the road.
