Horrible communications and No Support
I recently had an experience with CTFS that left me quite disappointed, especially in terms of their communication. The issue began when I noticed a discrepancy in a charge from a company that had misrepresented the currency they were billing in. Naturally, I turned to CTFS for assistance, hoping they would act as a mediator and help rectify the situation. Over the course of several months, I made numerous attempts to reach out to them. I sent multiple emails, hoping for updates or at least an acknowledgment of my concerns. It was disheartening to feel as though my concerns were falling on deaf ears, especially when dealing with a matter as sensitive as financial discrepancies. When I finally received a response from CTFS, it was far from satisfactory. They simply informed me that they couldn't assist in the matter. What was even more frustrating was the lack of transparency. They did not provide any detailed explanation, nor did they share any insights into their communication (or lack thereof) with the company in question. It left me feeling as though I was in the dark, without any support or guidance. Given this experience, I feel compelled to share my story as a word of caution for potential Canadian Tire credit card users. While the card may offer certain benefits, the customer support, based on my experience, leaves much to be desired. I'd advise considering this card only if you've exhausted other options and are fully aware of the potential challenges in communication and dispute resolution.
