Poor delivery and zero accountability.
Poor delivery and zero accountability. Ordered some items needed for delivery on Thursday - not delivered no update until we contacted Toolstation on Friday who then said the item was damaged and returned to warehouse. Of course no effort was made by Toolstation to resend the items of their own accord even though they promise next day delivery - that would clearly be too much to ask. We then re-ordered the same items again but with the fast track same day delivery as we needed the items to continue working. Advertised as between 30 minutes to 2 hours delivery time. Of course nothing showed up again, this time the order later showed as canceled in the app despite the tracking showing the courier on the way and half way to us. As seems par for the course with Toolstation fulfilment, no communication and no re-shipment was attempted by Toolstation. We then submitted a complaint, which was closed by the Toolstation team stating that it's in their terms and conditions to not plan any work based on item delivery. Why bother advertising next day and same day delivery then? If I need the items for a job next week, why do I care about 30 minute same day delivery times? Be serious. Say what you want about Papa Bezos but at least I can rely on Amazon delivering the items I pay for, or at least updating me and reshipping of their own accord when something goes wrong. Things go wrong, but it's how the company makes it right (or not) that earns the stars in the review. Do better.
