Grand Tour of South America
This was an incredibly enjoyable tour of South America. We visited four countries, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil staying in Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. The incredible highlights included Machu Picchu, crossing the Andes, the Iguazu falls on the border of Argentina and Brazil and visiting Christ the Redeemer and the Sugarloaf in Rio. These highlights were supported by delightful stays in Lakeside hotels, trips to temples, wonderful flora and fauna including beautiful butterflies, monkeys, turtles and delightful gardens in subtropical and tropical climates. City tours in each country gave us a wonderful sense of place and context. The common thread running through all of this and making it an incredibly stress free experience was our tour manager, Darren Wheatley. Darren was incredibly informative, superbly organised, friendly, kind and always willing to help and happy to go the extra mile with recommendations and suggestions which he often organised and attended himself. We cannot praise him highly enough, the success of the tour and our enjoyment of it was in no small part down to him. He was able assisted by local guides and it was obvious that Titan had thought hard about the itinerary to ensure a wonderful all round experience. Chris and Dee Francis.
