I haven't been this frustrated with a bank is well over a decade. Have you ever reached out to customer support and asked for help in understanding something and the representative repeats verbatim what is written on the website, advertisement, or support (knowledge) center? This was my experience. I couldn't get clarity about the stacks. After chatting for about 15 to 20 minutes while having to wait a few minutes in between for each response, I was asked if I wanted to set up an onboarding phone call. It was too late, I was frustrated. In addition to that, I wanted to know how long it would take for my money to be transferred to my other bank account since that is what I thought I did when I received my paycheck. I was told that it takes 5 days. Ok. No heads up? You won't be able to find that info anywhere. So I waited 5 days but still no payment. I decided to go back and check Lance and discovered that I actually didn't transfer any money to myself at all. So why am I giving a 1 star to Lance? Because there is a disconnect between their instructions on how to use it and what's actually happening with your money. I recall asking about the taxes because no taxes were taken out. You have to do that manually or calculate it manually then transfer it to a stack. I could be wrong about it but I am giving a 1-star because things were not clear and I literally have nothing but anger because of what happened and how things went. It was a very unpleasant experience that messed me up financially and put me in a bind. What they offer, you can do with your own bank. Maybe I'm still upset about what happened but these days the customer's experience is everything and I felt like the Lance support team didn't care about that process.
