Big disappointment …
We thought we had a tailored made holiday to Costa Rica which cost nearly £8,000. The one thing we requested was the Cloud walk above the Cloud Forest. We went to a cloud forest park with no tram trek or above the forest walk.there were hardly any animals and a guide who just wanted to get away lasted 1.30 hours. We asked for lots of swimming places but in Monteverde area for 3 days no pool no sea. Also Hotel at the top of a very steep hill which was very hard going for two pensioners. We then ended up in a rainforest again no pool but there is sea. This was suppose to be a holiday of a lifetime but I’ve been near to tears a couple of times. Audley have been in contact and have offered compensation for which we are grateful. They have listened so hopefully future travellers won’t face the same as us.
