Excellent Stay at the Red Lion Sedbergh
We walked the Yorkshire Dales way path for 7 days starting on the 9 July staying in a different B&B each night, which in the main were Pubs with rooms. They were all very good bar 2, one not so good the other excellent. A special mention must go to the Red Lion at Sedbergh and Hannah our host. We, my wife and I had one room, our son had the other. Both rooms were well presented. Hannah could not have been more welcoming and helpful, showed us to our rooms, talked us through everything, explained our room was next to the kitchen but last orders was 8.30pm and then all would be quiet. We did not eat at the Red Lion, but perhaps should have, as the meals being served looked excellent. On our return from eating elsewhere that evening about 9.30pm, the kitchen was being cleaned with music keeping the chefs going. On our return Hannah told the staff her guests had returned so keep the noise down which they did. After a great nights sleep in a comfortable clean bed, we had a choice of breakfast i.e. porridge, cereal, full English etc. which Hannah prepared to our requirements. Hannah is an excellent host who goes the extra mile.
