Hidden charge and lousy customer service
Your order is instantly “confirmed” and all seems well — until time passes by and nothing happens. Queries about progress are met with “24-48 hours,” when that time period is long gone (I for one, had to go without my meds). There is, to this day, no explanation. For me, nearly £800 were tied up while I hammered away at emails and they at least appeared to surrender, and so far £271.90 have been refunded. Unbeknownst to the consumer, Pharmacy4U charges a user fee of £5 per order, so it makes sense for them to accept every order that comes over the transom, then finally keep £5 when they can’t stonewall you anymore. I wouldn’t use them again. MY UPDATE 18. September 2023: Nice to know Pharmacy4U have a team who just handle their negative feedback. But here’s the truth: I made two orders on 4 and 5 September which were speedily debited to my account, being (1) for £281.90; and (2) an order for £547.10. After several exchanges of emails (“it takes 24-48 hours”) I demanded a refund and finally, on 14 September, one day after my demand, I received an email saying the orders had been cancelled and my money would be refunded. So far I have not been contacted concerning the £547.10 order at all. I have received no phone calls, whatever Pharmacy4U may claim, and the emails I got were unhelpful. A FEE OF £10 HAS BEEN WITHHELD FROM MY REFUND, PRESUMABLY COVERING THE CANCELLATION FEE FOR BOTH PRESCRIPTIONS. So where is my £547.10? Funny that the larger of the sums is the one in question. This is a great deal of money and I want it ALL back, ASAP. You’ve already had the “no hidden charges” hidden charge, so I should be due the full amount. In the interests of transparency and accuracy, I decline the telephone option, in order to have a written record of events. I have all records. Do you? 18 September 2023, 5 p.m. update: The truth apparently hurts, and the £547.10 has now reappeared in my bank account. Perhaps the only means of attracting customer service is to go on Trustpilot and force the issue. The £10 in hidden “no hidden charges” is still in Pharmacy4U’s pocket. Never, ever again. USE SOMEBODY ELSE.
