Owner Payouts Don't Make Sense
As a rental owner this company has been extremely frustrating. We transitioned from Awning to RedAwning who bought out the first company. Ever since the switch we've had issues with clear communication, terrible transitioning, and numbers that just don't add up. I honestly have no idea if the income they've told me we've received is correct now that they've removed all of our prior records with the first company. Their payment system is TERRIBLE. The amount you are paid DOES NOT match what the reservation total comes to, so you have no idea if you've been paid correctly or not. Every time I've tried to ask for assistance, I get a spreadsheet with more numbers that don't make sense, and I'm told the 'timing' of the payout is the reason why things don't add up. Yet, no one can explain anything further. Lastly, they withhold taxes, but don't remit them for every website your property is showcased on - meaning you have to jump through the tax hoops and figure out how to remit the taxes - which can be confusing and was not something I was doing before the merge with RedAwning. Lastly, it's nearly impossible to get help when you have a problem. Everything seems to be done through email. If you have a question or issue, you've got to submit an email and wait 2-3 days for them to get back to you - if they do. I would absolutely NOT recommend them. There's nothing they provide that others don't for the 20% management fee.
