Customer service is TERRIBLE
Have had LG appliances for over 10 years. Decided to update. Refrigerator and Oven were damaged in shipping/delivery. All damages were acknowledged and reported by the delivery company to their supervisor. When trying to deal with customer service regarding repairs/replacement, it has been a nightmare. An appointment was scheduled to replace the oven, however when the delivery truck showed up, all they were there to do was pick up, not deliver. Called LG customer service again and another appointment was scheduled. When notification of the delivery was sent, it was for an electric oven, however we purchased a gas oven. Called CS AGAIN. While on hold, they confirmed with the delivery company that it was actually a gas oven they were delivering and confirmed the delivery date. They showed up today with an ELECTRIC oven. Then we have the refrigerator damage. We arranged for the door to be replaced as that is where the damage was located. It has been two weeks and we have been told we may have been mistaken, that it isn't actually dented, it may just be a bubble in the protective cover over the door. When I confirmed that it is, in fact, dented in 2 places, it took them several days to reach back out. Then I was advised that they needed to confirm I still need the service call. Since the door has still not been replaced and it has been almost 3 weeks, I am NOT happy. I will never purchase from them again if this is the kind of customer support I have to deal with.
