bitdefender is worse than ransomware
bitdefender is worse than the internet threats they ostensibly protect you from. There is a default autorenewal on the subscription. Interestingly, money was taken by them without any confirmation from them. Additionally, they offer 'two methods' to cancel the autorenewal, both of which are not working. I have spent a couple of hours this morning trying to sort this out, to no result. Awful, awful business model -- I'd rather take my chances with proper hackers; at least they would be honest about what they are up to. update: I received a lengthy, standardised response to my review from Bitdefender. (a) Neither of the two ways to cancel the automated renewal of the subscription has worked so far (b) I have still not received my refund. Without exaggeration, this is the worse experience I have ever had with a software-related transaction.
