TV Aerial Company

It all turned out well in the end!
I'm a bit confused - TV Aerial Company fitted my aerial in 20017, yet the receipt I had today, for a replacement masthead amplifier, was headed Home Vision. Same phone number though. The first appointment - the operative checked all the internal gubbins with his kit, all was functioning ok but the picture was still pixellated, which apparently indicated the masthead amp was the problem. Unfortunately he wasn't able to lift ladders or climb them, so was unable to complete the job. Then, I was let down the next day as the first man omitted to tell HQ I couldn't make the next morning, when someone rang to say they'd be coming. I was promised later in the afternoon, but the operative was held up by the job before mine, so couldn't make it. HQ agreed I would be the first job of the day a few days later, but I was called to say the operative had been called back to a job on the previous day, so would be here about mid-day. And then, all was well. Paul Bowman phoned to say he'd be arriving within half an hour, he got here earlier, checked again that the gubbins inside the house was working, then got onto the roof and found the masthead amplifier had 'blown'. He quickly fitted a new one, made sure the tv was working properly, and we sorted the paperwork and payment. Paul was polite, friendly and efficient, and even helpfully advised from roof level of some rotten timberwork. He also showed me how to make Channel 5 catch-up work! Thanks Paul! These guys have to do so much driving - it seems as the company expects them to fit in too many jobs each day.
