Excellent service from Autounion, Chania, Crete

We rented a car in Crete (Chania airport) recently and, unfortunately, returned the car with damage. The guy who received the car - Vagelis - was fantastic. He was sympathetic and caring and did everything he could to make us feel better about what had happened. Unfortunately, we had a 500 Euro excess (we wish we had taken the very reasonable zero excess option offered to us at pickup!) but Vagelis gave us all the documentation we needed to claim back some of it on our travel insurance. I really can't speak more highly of the company in Chania. I've been ripped off numerous times by companies like Europcar and it was great to come across an outlet that had integrity and were very helpful in a difficult situation. Totally recommend them based on our experience. But buy the zero excess insurance when you pickup!!
