The device I purchased works for its primary purpose which is giving me my weight. The issue however is that the feature where the scale connects to the app absolutely refused to, and this is what I really needed. It was the entire point of the purchase of the scale. I tried several devices to be certain; phones, tablets, Android, iOS, removing and replacing the batteries, new batteries, different types of batteries, nothing worked. Furthermore the app is buggy and repeatedly crashes (as of 5/21/2024) with plenty of recurring complaints on the iOS App Store going back years. The app developer keeps apologizing and promising to fix but it has never happened, apparently. Potential buyers need to be aware of these issues and limitations before purchase. Also, calling support is absolutely no help. They literally recite from the product pamphlet and beyond that will tell you to check the website, really. Calling will only frustrate you, be warned. I ended up returning the scale.
