I am disgusted with my experience today…
I am disgusted with my experience today and the lack of resolve offered by the customer service and the main complaints office. The incompetency of the Smithfield store workers when I attended the store to pick up nearly $1000 worth of camping supplies to travel that afternoon away for a camping trip. I finished work and arrived at the store to collect my items which I purchased a few hours prior all on the same order as click and collect as I needed them for the camping trip we were leaving on. When I got to the store they only had the tent which was one item on the order and I was told that was the only thing on the order. When I showed them my purchases and receipt they told me that the other items were sent for home delivery.. I was ropeable. I wanted my money refunded so that I could go and purchase these items somewhere else as I needed them today and that I had paid for them and had used click and collect as the option when I paid and checked that the store had these in stock. I was strapped for time and wanted these items for the trip and worked all day so I thought this would be the most convenient and fast way to collect. So after questioning the where abouts of the items that were not there to pick up I was told that the tent was the only item and all the rest had been sent out for home delivery. I then told them I had not asked for them to be delivered and that the order was done all together and paid for together so why would it have changed from click and collect. I was not helped at all I wanted a refund so that I could go and get these items from somewhere but I was never going to use their services again. The lady who served me was Gab and she was the most incompetent and unhelpful person I have ever met. So the items that I paid for but didn't receive had also been sent to the address that i previously lived in and they would not give me a refund and after tracking the items they had not even been collected from the store. They wouldn't refund my money because the items had left the store to be delivered and I could not have a refund. I was lied to I'm out of pocket for having to purchase another item of each things I had already bought today so that I could go camping and I've been disgusted at the lack of responsibility and owner ship that this did not care to resolve my issue and I'm without the $700 worth of camping and supplies that they have sent to an old address that I don't live at and they lied to me saying that the items had already been sent but they are still sitting in the anaconda warehouse according to Australia Post. I am disgusted at the way they have had a lot of money from me personally over the years and they did not rectify this issue that I know was not my fault as why was a part of my order to click and collect and the rest sent out to me but the order was just 1 order and why would they split my order and send it to an address that I no longer lived and that they should have confirmed on the purchase checkout the address that they had in the system was correct. Or at least shown me at the checkout that they had an address there and did I live there? I did not fill out any shipping details or see any postage details at all when I placed order as I had chosen to click and collect. They were the most unhelpful customer service people I have ever met.
